If you thought sausage gravy couldn't get any betterβ¦ think again. This month, we're upgrading a southern breakfast classic by giving it the Piggy Pouch treatment β and that means bacon grease is back on the menu.
Last time, we baked fluffy buttermilk biscuits using rich bacon fat straight from our Piggy Pouch. This time, weβre making sausage gravy β but with a twist. We drained the sausage grease into a Piggy Pouch for disposal (because no one wants a greasy kitchen trash bag), and then pulled a used Piggy Pouch from the fridge loaded with flavorful, golden bacon grease. The result? Bold, smoky, next-level gravy.
